Today, I had the honour of being felicitated by the Vivekananda Study Circle (VSC) in Technopark, for Mission Netaji’s efforts to solve the Netaji mystery. I spoke to a curious audience about the Netaji mystery and the steps taken by Mission Netaji in cracking it. Thank you VSC. Dr BK Krishnan Nair spoke about Vivekananda’s ideals. Technopark Today and Mathrubhumi daily covered the event.
To reach a closure on the Bose mystery, the Narendra Modi government must adopt a four-step plan. One, release all known files in the government’s possession. Two, release all intelligence files. Three, influence other countries to release their files on Bose. Four, appoint a special investigation team to probe the matter further.
I appeared on Janam TV’s Made in India program that discussed the Netaji mystery. Other panelists included G Devarajan of All India Forward Bloc, Chandra Kumar Bose and Chitra Ghosh from the Bose family, and Niladri Banerjee from the Open Platform Kolkata. Here is the video.
I was on Times Now today in two special live broadcasts with Padmaja Joshi. One was to discuss some of the letters about Netaji, which were declassified today. The second was the Times Now special broadcast on declassification. Some of the other panelists were my friend Anuj Dhar, Netaji’s daughter Anita Pfaff, and grandnephew Ashis Ray. Unfortunately, the videos of the debate are not available.
Mission Netaji’s Chandrachur Ghose and I were panelists on NewsX on various discussions about the declassification of the first tranche of Netaji files. While Chandrachur was in the studio from morning till night, I was on air for nearly 7.5 hours. Thank you NewsX for the support. Personally, it was a great feeling to see 100 documents coming out after a very long battle.
Mission Netaji’s long battle since 2005 will taste a major success tomorrow with the declassification of the first tranche of Netaji files. Times Now’s Anand Narasimhan conducted a debate with Netaji’s nephew Ardhendu Bose, grandnephew Abhijit Ray and me on the panel, on the importance of declassification. Unfortunately, the debate video is not available.
Talking to Janam TV about the forensic study comparing Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose with an unidentified man at the Tashkent discussions. Some media houses like The New Indian Express attributed the credit of the study to Mission Netaji. But Mission Netaji is, in now way, involved in this study. Needless to say, those who use our name in this, have only malicious intentions. Here is the video (in Malayalam).
