I wrote an article on DailyO by the India Today Group, about the snooping on the Netaji family in independent India. The available documents suggest that the family was being spied on until 1968. The crux of the article is that the snooping may have continued even beyond 1968 because the R&AW took over the external intelligence from Intelligence Bureau in that same year. So more details may be lying around somewhere in the secret vaults.
