Six things about me; habitual, common yet weird!

I am tagged by Strictly for My Friends; and my thanks to her, because I like tags! It deals with 6 things about me, of course unknown to you, that may be related to my habit, or even can be categorized peculiar. She has also given the rules for this tag, which I am reproducing here.

~ You must post a blog with six weird facts or habits about yourself
~ These cannot be used against you later on
~ At the bottom name the six people you will tag next
~ Leave them a comment to let them know they’ve been tagged and to read your blog

  1. I am a cashew nut and omlette lover. I have never developed a dislike to these two my whole life. Whenever I am away, I have this habit of guttling omlettes to my delight. Since my mom knows it, she prefers not to toy with this habit when I am home! ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. I am one of the most irascible persons in the world. I quarrel over anything with anyone and my voice would go out loud. I am a difficult customer to please, pretty inexorable when it comes to services I subscribe to. But I never take personal ribbings by my friends in earnest. I enjoy it as much as they do. But with strangers, hmmmm…. things are not that frivolous. Another example of me going mad is when I come to know something is missing from its original place; my pen, mobile, specs, anything. ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. I cannot be beside a smoker or drunkard. I find it increasingly difficult with such fellows inside elevator cabins and other confined places.
  4. I detest waking up early. I am a nighthawk; can be rattling very deep into the night, but not at the break of the day.
  5. I do not know how to tie shoe laces properly. I had tried this seeing others do it when I was young (and I still am!), but could never replicate it. Over the years I have designed my own way of fastening the laces. I would cross the two laces once, and would tie them again so that there is one loop and the other freely hanging end would be slipped in underneath the string at the farther lace hole and will jut it out from the other side. It is some process! ๐Ÿ™‚
  6. I experience vertigo so that I will not go anyway near parapets! ๐Ÿ™‚
I would like to tag Ajith, Gaurav, Deepa, Srijith, Priya and Akhil to take up this tag, course if they haven’t taken this already, plus anyone else who want to do a round of tagging! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Hey Sreejith… good one! Your confession of the inability to tie shoe laces to this day is commendable, and the fact that you’ve invented a new way is too (why don’t you apply for a Patent for new technique, by the way!)

  2. Hi Sreejith,

    Pretty Interesting Tag..
I have to say Shoelaces are easy.. you should give it a try seriously.. ๐Ÿ™‚ *chuckles*
And strangers beware, when Sreejith`s around.. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Yeah I too get pissed off, when my things get missed. Hey and Omelettes are fine.. Cashewnuts.. hmm well you`ll have to watch your weight buddy.
Shall take up this weird tag soon.

    With Best Regards,
    Srijith Unni.

  3. Re: Gaurav Jain

Hahhaha! I have always wished I could fasten the shoelaces just the way any other person does, but that remains a problem still! ๐Ÿ˜›

Patent…. yah… I should consider! Sreejith’s way of fastening shoe strings! LOL

  4. Re: Srijith Unni

Sheolaces…. I don’t think it is my cup of tea…. but shall try again taking your advice

Strangers…. yah, but they need to provoke me ๐Ÿ˜›

MAD is the word when something is missing!

Despite of ravening these omelettes and cashewnuts, I have lost weight considerably!

Looking for a good one from you too……..

  5. Re: Priya

So pleased to see you back! I thought it is better to tag you a little later since you are in the middle of personal griefs now…. That is why I gave no hints on your blog.

I shall surely check your weird issues! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. ***Another example of me going mad is when I come to know something is missing from its original place; my pen, mobile, specs, anything. :-)***

U shud hop over to my place once and see for urself this side of the world. Things never had an original place in the first place, here!! ๐Ÿ™‚

***I cannot be beside a smoker or drunkard.***

I used to have the same difficulty. But now, given the kind of profession I am in, I have developed the ability to put up with all kinds of people. Mastering the art of survival, as they say… ๐Ÿ™‚

    U havent travelled by train????

    ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
OMG!! That sure had my mouth open just like that!! LOL!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Great job of the tag, btw!!

  7. Re: Velu Nair

I didn’t mean to say that things are in order at my end! But sometimes I remember where I have placed certain things and I would be flared up in case they are misplaced!

Smoke… drink…….I had tried many times to cope with it. But I just can’t.

Yes, I haven’t travelled by train as yet. At least touching a train is one of my cherished wishes!

    Thanks a lot mate! ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Re: Velu Nair

๐Ÿ™‚ The first one. There never was a requirement for me to travel by train. It is not that I have avoided it. I am looking forward to my first trip by train! Hope it will come some day! :-))

  9. .At least touching a train is one of my cherished wishes..hmmm

    then you prefer waterways…
    and what about neck ties?

i knew to tie laces but beign a female we had to buckle our shoes. i envied my brother for those laces.

a post with an honest confession

  10. Re: Passerby55

It is that I never needed to travel by train! No waterways as yet other than skiffs and ferries to date! No airplanes also!

Neck ties….. ditto…. I do not need to wear neck ties in office, so I do not know that either! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

So, your brother too ties shoelaces well? ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

    Yah, an honest confession! ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Re: Venus

No! I detest only adamantine strangers arguing for the wrong case! You are no stranger to me! ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ™‚ Yah, such tags would help to know more about blog-adicts like us!

  12. WOW!I love reading tags and this one is good.Hey!I like omelettes too but I need them well done without that eggy taste ;P
I develop a like and dislike to cashews…I don’t know how to explain that but sometimes I totally love them and sometimes I can’t eat them ๐Ÿ™‚
phew!I cannot tolerate smoking at all!!
Infact,it’s funny you mention it…the other day I was just thinking since we cannot eradicate smokers altogether, why not have these smoking rooms in every part of the world. The people who want to smoke should get in there ,smoke and walk out. They are not allowed to smoke on any other place on earth except those rooms. And those rooms will be scientifically designed to neutralise all the smoke that is emitted. What do you think?
Someone should do something about this.
it could be as common as ATM rooms but it should be done. And if anyone is caught smoking outside it,they should be jailed. And also cigarettes should only be sold in there.hahah I am gonna go on like this if am allowed.SO i shall stop ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. Re: Maya Cassis

LOL! I also don’t like the eggy taste, even though I would raven raven it! Cashews? I love them!

Actually, smoking in public places is banned here in Kerala, though it is not strictly followed by the smokers and the police! Good, if there are smoking rooms, but I cannot stand people just after smoking too! They emanate another reeking smell of tobacco! Better if the smokers are allowed to quit the smoking chamber only half an hour after the deed is done! ROFL
